Transition to Remote Learning

Remote Learning

As the COVID pandemic continues to evolve, we must remain flexible in how to best address the needs of our students.  Given the increase we have seen in positive cases and necessary quarantines, the decision has been made to transition to remote learning.  For our middle school and high school students, remote learning will begin tomorrow, Thursday November 19th.  Our elementary students will continue to attend for the remainder of this week and will begin remote learning on Monday November 23rd. For the elementary students, attendance this Thursday and Friday is imperative to prepare for unique remote learning needs.  Remote learning will continue for the district through Friday December 4th, understanding that our three days of Thanksgiving break will still be days off school.  All students will be welcomed back to the building for in-person learning Monday, December 7th. A detailed letter has been sent home with students today.  It is also available through this link: Parent Letter November 18th.

Meals will be offered during the week of November 30-December 4th. Please see the the linked information for the details: Buckeye Central to Offer Meals.

Our hope is to continue to navigate this ongoing situation with the best interest of our students in mind.  We appreciate your cooperation, flexibility, and commitment to our staff and students during these challenging times.  We will get through this by working together.
