The Ohio Department of Education along with the USDA have authorized the extension of the Seamless Option Meal Program until December 31, 2020, or until funding is no longer available. Under this program, the district is able to provide meals free of charge to ALL students enrolled in the district and attending classes in-person.
Effective immediately, the district will provide free meals (breakfast and lunch) to all students attending in-person. This program will be offered until December 31, 2020, OR until the program is ended by The Ohio Department of Education.
Any a la carte or second meal that the student wishes to purchase will be charged to their account. Students who have money on their account can use it for the extras or when the program is discontinued.
Families are still encouraged to complete free and reduced meal applications in the event the program is discontinued earlier than anticipated or in the preparation for the resumption of the normal school lunch program on January 1, 2021.
