Welcome to Buckeye Central Elementary School! We provide a welcoming, nurturing, challenging and safe learning environment in which all children are actively engaged in our curriculum. We look forward to working with you and your child to provide them with the best educational experiences and we seek to establish a spirit of community, which promotes respect, cultivates curiosity, facilitates learning, and provides opportunities for growth.
As the principal of Buckeye Central Elementary School, I am pleased to have the opportunity to lead our team in the continued tradition of academic excellence. I have the privilege of working with a dedicated, diligent and caring staff that continues to find innovative techniques to educate our students and provide them with every academic advantage to become responsible future citizens. It is also an honor to work with our young students that have a strong sense of good moral character and the genuine excitement to achieve their goals.
Our focus at Buckeye Central is to continue to develop an educational atmosphere that encourages students to think creatively. We aim to create a positive and encouraging classroom experience that allows the students to feel comfortable, at ease and motivated to learn. We continue striving to give students the opportunity to gain the skills needed to become self-directed learners and continue to promote an atmosphere that allows the students to engage in learning projects that foster creative thinking.
We also want to continue to build relationships between students, staff, community and stakeholders to promote open lines of communication in order to develop best practices that will give Buckeye Central students every advantage to grow academically.
I am proud to be a part of the Buckeye Central Community and all of its excellent traditions both academically and culturally. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time during the 2017-2018 school year.
Yours in Education,
Mr. Matt Millinger
